This walk-through, interactive, event features live actors and animals in both indoor and outdoor settings. Come discover your new family Christmas tradition!

About the Journey

For the fourth year in a row Bethlehem will come to life right here in Lewisburg, TN. The first Journey took place in December of 2020 as a drive-through event, but in 2022 we brought a whole new dimension to this interactive, immersive experience. Families are welcomed to the Bethlehem marketplace (don't forget to register for the census!) where they experience the sights, sounds, tastes, and smells of the night Jesus was born. Kids have the opportunity to create souvenirs to take home or even gifts to leave at the manger for the new-born King. Our volunteer cast brings the streets of Bethlehem to life, including a LIVE NATIVITY.

Bethlehem Marketplace

The food, fragrances, sights, and sounds of Bethlehem come to life in hands-on, interactive ways. Fun for all ages, the marketplace is 100% FREE, just like everything else!

Live Nativity

Featuring a variety of farm and exotic animals in addition to our cast of volunteers, you won't forget this encounter with the first Christmas any time soon!

Overflow Parking and Shuttle Service

In the very likely event that our main parking area fills up, overflow parking will be available at Columbia State Community College. It's just a short shuttle ride up the hill to Bethlehem!

This year's shuttle is provided by Lewisburg First United Methodist Church.
